ABOUT ME

I am a Reddam House student living in Cape Town, in South Africa. My art journey started in 2018, when I was inspired to express myself creatively through art at school.  I began with school assignments and projects which had stringent guidelines and subsequently began to develop my own concepts around more general themes.  My artworks are now much more personal and reflect difficult issues that I have had to face in my life.  I am inspired by artists such as H.R. Giger whose art has shock value and draws attention in a unique way.  I have tried to captivate the viewer in a similar way with strange visuals, inviting them to see things from a new point of view and confronting them with some uncomfortable realities.   My works are generally portraits that are done in a variety of media and styles.
